Found an empty nest. High winds took this tiny, intricately woven home to ground. These same winds made beautiful brush strokes in the sunrise. Our Ornamental Pear tree is showing signs of waking. An unusually cloudy and wet morning amplified the saturation of the open space grasses and cattails. Watched and listened to the red-winged blackbirds singing to the dawn.
