Mark and I walked the paths of Garden of Gods with our sweet doggie while watching the sun come up on Tava Mountain. Tava Mountain was named by the Colorado Mountain Ute people and is also known as Pike’s Peak. This mountain inspired the song “America the Beautiful.”
The Spotted Towhee were welcoming in the morning with their beautiful songs. I was lucky enough to spot them in three different locations this week… my backyard, the neighborhood park, and Garden of the Gods.
